How do I check Page Authority and Domain Authority using a MOZ API key?
SEO PowerSuite tools let you collect third-party data, such as MOZ Domain Authority and Page Authority factors for backlinks, link prospects, and websites' pages.
How to get the API key?
To do that, you'll need to have a MOZ API key:
1. Log into your Moz account - moz.com/users/login
2. Choose a Plan or select 'Try it free!' From the Moz API Plans and Pricing page
3. Enter your payment details (A credit card is required for a free API plan)
4. Set up your API Credentials - Generate your API token
How to apply the key to the apps?
To apply the key, open each SEO PowerSuite app and go to Preferences > Moz API Settings > click Add Key.
Enter your Token, and set your license type respectively (free or paid)
Moz offers 2 types of licenses:
- Free token allows for one request every ten seconds, up to 50 rows per month
- Paid token lets you send 200 requests per second. Using a paid account, you'll be able to update PA/DA metrics really fast (there are several pricing tiers provided depending on your project scale)
Once you connect your MOZ API key, you'll be able to check Domain Authority and Page Authority in your projects for domains (in Domain Strength), pages, backlinks, and link prospects across all SEO PowerSuite tools.
