How do I request a new Search Engine?

The SEO PowerSuite apps support over 571 global and regional search engines, and the number is gradually growing.

Our team will analyze your request and decide on implementing the search engine into SEO PowerSuite apps. The priority will go to popular/frequently requested search engines as well as the ones offering unique features (e.g. Blekko.com). For a new search engine to be approved, it also has to meet several basic requirements:

• The search engine should be genuine (have its own index)

We don't normally implement meta-search services that only aggregate the results from major search engines or any third-party sources. E.g.: Metacrawler.com, Hotbot.com, Webcrawler.com, Metasearchengine.com, Info.com, Kartoo.com, Icrawl.us.

• The search engine's index should encompass the entire web

Some other aggregators may look like search engines while in fact their search is limited to their own pages/catalogs. E.g.: various B2B search engines (Jayde.com, Zibb.com, Wlw.com) and business directories (Yellowpages.com, Business.com, Itsbetter.com). To make a URL appear in their listings, one must submit it to the catalog. So, the way they operate puts them aside from original search engines crawling the Web.
