When working on projects over time or dealing with numerous intricate details within a single project, the project file can progressively grow in size, consuming significant memory resources and processing time within the software.

Apart from increasing the default memory limit, which would enable you to work with bigger projects for some time, you can also consider cleaning the data you no longer use or don't need to focus on during your regular workflow.
How to make your Rank Tracker project 'lighter'?
1. create a backup project file that would be stored on your local hard drive (with the Enterprise plan you can go to File > Export; and with the rest plans you can simply create a copy of your project by saving it with another name - File > Save As).
2. clear ranking history by going to Rank Tracking workspace > selecting keywords > right-click the mouse > clicking 'Clear Ranking History'. The software would then suggest you select what type of data should be removed and time period to be cleared:
3. delete unused keyword suggestions under the Keyword Sandbox by selecting keywords > right-click the mouse > clicking 'Delete':
The above few actions would help you to clear the project from the outdated data and will enable you to focus on the most recent results, while you can always get back to the backup data and import it back to your project (if needed).
