How to install the software on a new PC?

You can easily move SEO PowerSuite apps to other computers (Windows, Mac, or Linux) following the steps below:

Make sure you have closed the software on machine A (the computer you are moving the software from)
Install the software on machine B (the one you are moving the software to)
Register the software by entering your registration name and the license keys
Copy the saved project files from computer A to computer B

SEO PowerSuite projects files use the following file extensions:

Rank Tracker	.stk
WebSite Auditor	.wsa
SEO SpyGlass	.spy
LinkAssistant	.xch

How to move the software along with the Global Preferences?

In case you have custom report templates, export templates, publishing profiles, scheduled tasks, or alerts set up, you can move them along with the software. These plus all other global preferences are stored in the ".properties" files.

How to find the .properties files for the tools?

".properties" files for SEO PowerSuiteapps are named as follows:

How to find the files on MacOS?

On Mac, the files will be invisible by default, so you'll need to make the hidden files visible first. To do so, launch the Terminal, paste in the following command:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES

And press Return. After that, hold the Option/ALT key, then right-click on the Finder icon in the Dock and click Relaunch.

The hidden files should then become visible, so you'll be able to find them in the folder by the path mentioned above.

How to substitute the files on another PC?

To move the software along with global preferences, follow these steps carefully:

Install the software on computer B following the instructions provided at the beginning,
Make sure the software is closed completely (and isn't running in the background) on both PCs,
Copy the ".properties" files from computer A and paste them into the same folder on computer B (delete the existing files first, if they have already been generated),
Make sure the .properties files retain the correct file names after transferring - at times, the dots at the beginning (".ranktracker.properties") may go missing,
Start the software on computer B.

If you can see your good old settings under Global Preferences and your custom report templates in the Reports module, this means that you have moved the software successfully.
